Music
Music has been an integral part of St. Charles Borromeo’s education since 1932. Our goal is for all of our students to gain a quality music education and by the end of their time here be, not just musicians, but musical, so they can appreciate and participate in music throughout their lives. All grade levels attend music throughout the week to learn how to follow a beat, read music, and sing along to instruments as a group. Music gives the students a chance to learn how to express themselves in a new creative way that stimulates their minds. Our students learn traditional hymns as well as Christmas songs for an annual concert. The skills they learn not only help them developmentally but teach the students how to worship the Lord together through music and with their voices.
